Who may qualify
Eligibility depends on the applicant, property and work.
Eligible owners of single, semi-detached or townhouse residences in Peel, subject to installation date, permit, inspection and programme-history rules.
Peel’s regional programme may overlap geographically with municipal programmes in Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon. Eligibility for one programme does not automatically establish eligibility for another.

Should work begin before approval?
Not unless the current official programme clearly permits it. Many programmes require pre-approval, permits or pre-work inspection.
Does the maximum amount mean every applicant receives that amount?
No. Payment depends on eligible costs, measure limits, inspections, available funding and the authority’s decision.
Does rebate eligibility prove the proposed system is technically suitable?
No. Funding eligibility and property-specific technical suitability are separate questions.
